  1. Good day: If the objects in symbol were created on the 'none' class and it is assigned to its appropriate class descriptor eg. Equipment main , but later on in the modelling process the objects inside the symbol show as being on random class that they were not originally assigned to. What could have caused this and how can it be fixed without going through every symbol in the model to reassign them to appropriate classes. Helpful to know: The VWX file is a shared file - multiple persons work on it throughout the course of the day. With thanks,

  4. How do we show the 3D door / window tag on both sides. It only show on external elevation of the door / window. If the hinge marker shows on both sides. How could we show the 3D ID tag on both sides?
  5. Fixed. Thanks Admin, we also had to check our 'Privacy& security settings' to allow the Vectorworks updater to make changes to the machine. Thank you!
  6. Service Pack Will Not Install (Version 2023): I did a check for updates and attempted to install the new VWX Service Pack. The error message below followed. After restarts and shutdowns, the error message continues to appear. I would like to update to attempt to correct issues with disappearing walls in the VWX file etc.
  7. Good day: I used vectorworks 2023 to create a custom data tag, it should : read the ceiling height of a ceiling ( modelled as a slab style) (it displays the value in feet and inches correctly from top of slap to bottom of ceiling correctly) the object function in dynamic text reads 'Object function:Bottom of bounding box storey elevation' this gives the accurate top of slab to underside of ceiling slab BUT does not factor in the 2" finish on top of the slab #datatags #dynamictexts #vwx2023 Aug14-2023 With thanks,
