You can do that with just math. Exactly like you would in Excel. [Cell reference] *1.15 will give you the cell + 15%s or [Cell reference]*.15 will give you 15% of the cell.

Anybody else seeing this issue with Railings - or am I setting them up wrong?
Guardrail with a facia post.
Even with a 0 inset I still get an inset.
I can't get the corner posts to display correctly. Outside corners are always bisecting. Inside corners have two posts.

@Matharchi what render mode is your elevation?

If you have the worksheet placed in the drawing: In the OIP for the worksheet uncheck "Show Database Headers"
If you are looking at the open worksheet, go to View (the one in the worksheet) and uncheck Database Headers.
But in the open worksheet there is no need to hide the database header, other than aesthetics.

A while ago @Pat Stanford and I came up with a script for doing this. I'll attach it here.
Your signature says you are using 2016. If that's still true let me know and I'll either post the raw script or export back.

I'm not seeing any difference between 2023 and 2024 in this behavior. I still see the same options when right clicking.
Are you using a custom workspace? If so, is it different in a stock workspace?

Sorry if this disappoints. Those files are empty except for a title block that is just geometry, not a parametric title block.

@Boh I actually enjoy begin able to have a database of notes that spans not only different files, but different versions of Vectorworks. My notes database is probably only 500 notes, but I know people who have many many thousands of notes. Having that database fork with every file would be really confusing.
A few years ago @The Hamma and I came up with a very cool way of making very large notes databases from an excel file and a script in VW for generating UUIDs. I should dig that up and post it. I've forgotten some of the details on how to create it, but I've been using that database for years!

It's been doing this for 10 minutes now.

Just tried a blank document with 2048 directional lights. Selecting all of them and checking Soft Shadows in VW 2023 was too much for it!

No. I created a new file with 1344 directional lights. No issues.

you might have a problem with that file. Opening it made VW very unstable for me. I did see the problem you were having before it crashed.
After the crash I tried to replicated the problem from a blank file. I gave up after 1344 light objects.

Can you post a file with those two light objects?

Are they both in the same class?
What version of VW? What OS? What render mode?

If it's helpful you can try this: https://www.verysmallgroup.com/dimension2. It pretty much does a version of what @spettitt describes.
I'll post a file with an example.
It may not do exactly what you want but I think the code could be modified to do what you are looking for (IF I get what you're looking for 🙂 )
It's written in Vector Script rather than Python. If this looks promising let me know and I'll dig up the code.

There's very probably a way to use the height and width of the cabinet and subtract the kick and the top, bottom, side, center, and mid reveals.
The tricky part would be getting all the infinitely possible face frame configurations to count how many doors, drawers and mid and center reveals there are.
