Installation stalls at 70%

Hi 

 

Long time user since MiniCAD days, and was a trainer too, my practice trained many others - so not a novice. Currently in Higher Ed, and have been for years, trying to install 2022 education version for which I have the required license etc... tried a few weeks ago it stalled at 70% and won't complete installation. Tried again today, roughly 4 weeks later, redownloaded  etc... still stalling at 70% installation - anyone got ideas what is happening?

The usual first questions so that we can help you more efficiently — what version of VW are you trying to install and what OS?

 

I reinstalled Vw2023 a few weeks ago on my MacBook Pro, and it also appeared to stop at 70% — but it did eventually finish. It didn’t update the installation progress bar after 70%, it stayed there so long that I thought it froze. But I was patient, left it alone and it finally finished. It did take longer than I expected, maybe around 45 minutes or more.

I had a stall at 70% a Service Pack or two ago... I wonder what might be the cause...
