Viewport Default Light Rendering

trashcan

Question

I'm sure there's an easy answer here.

I have a number of lights that I'm using for specific viewports, but there are some viewports where I want to use the default Vectorworks lighting. If I turn off all the Viz lights, everything is dark in those viewports (obviously). Simple solve?

The "default light" only exists when there are no lights in the scene. This is different than a light that's in the scene but is turned off.

So if you want the default light back, put your lights on a class (or layer) then make it in invisible in that viewport, thereby completely removing the lights from the scene.

If you select the viewport then glance at the Visualization palette, there shouldn't be any lights in the list (assuming "Current Scene" is selected).
