Squiidly
I have a wall with GWB on both sides of the wall. The plan I'm working on is at 1:48, so I'm indicating the GWB graphically (this is necessary because some walls dont have the GWB on both sides). How can I show the GWB on the end of a wing wall? Do I have to draw it "manually"? Quote Link to comment
islandmon
Squidly... the Wall Tool provides for 'cavities'. This means that you can show the GWB on one or both sides of the Wall and you can also 'hatch' or 'image fill' the core of the Wall. Therefore, you have 3 options: 1) GWB both sides 2) GWB one side 3) GWB no sides Quote Link to comment
Travis
Yes, you'll have to draw the GWB indicator for a wall "end". Turning on the end cap only draws a line. Good luck, Quote Link to comment
Squiidly
Thanks for your help. This seems to be one case where autocad has a nice feature that allows one to draw endcaps as polylines and define the end of a wing wall. Perhaps you can tell that I'm tormented by autocad during the day, pleased by vw at night. Quote Link to comment
Ramon PG
I would suggest a typical detail for the majority of situations and a note in the drawing for the rest. Quote Link to comment
