Images not Importing

I always import jpg images into my plans and halfway through my current project, the images are no longer being imported. Not even images that I had already imported; they imported before and are still there, but I cannot import anything new.

I shut down and restarted. Nothing.

I opened a new file. Nothing.

I imported a PDF. It worked.

I also tried importing images into other software/apps. They all worked.

Has anyone come across this problem before and knows how to resolve it?

I think we need to know what version of VW, what OS, and what kind of image files.  Are you importing by dragging or through File>Import?

Images that I am trying to import are jpg, both photos and scans of drawings.

I usually use File>Import, but also tried dragging. Neither works.

That's too bad.  Now I'm out of ideas 🙂.

 

It's a menu command.  Maybe it got corrupted?  When you go to File>Import>Image File… does the Explorer window open up?

Could it be as simple as a class or layer turned off?
