Cbeckwith
I have s sheet layer different from the Layers class, it has the references that I need to spot specifics on the main drawing. Missing the floor plan on this sheet. Is there a way to get Floor plan which is in the Layer plan to show up on the sheets plan? Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
using layer and classes on sheet layers with viewports is a big topic. This is covered in my Essential manual with several exercises to show you how to make drawings. Quote Link to comment
buz
If it's as simple as having created a viewport and forgotten a class or layer, selecting the viewport and in the OIP you can add in whatever you left out. Quote Link to comment
jfmarch
layers cannot be classed, but classes can be seen through various layers, depending on their visibility. it sounds like you have a layer/class visibility question with viewports, but i am not sure/ i am not clear on what you are up to, can you rephrase your problem? Jonathan Pickup
yes, it?s that simple. You can edit the setting of a viewport after you have made it using the Object Info Palette. I often use one viewport to make others, you can drag a copy of a viewport on a sheet layer to a new location. Then use the Object Info Palette to edit the layers and classes to make a new viewport.
