Seena Hassouna
Is there a way to do some sort of boolean operation to join walls that are on top of eachother?? I would like to combine 3 walls into one tall wall. I want to join the existing ones instead of making a new one that I would have to reposition all the windows in again. Thanks Seena Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
what?s wrong with the 3 walls, are they for different floors of the building? Quote Link to comment

Jonathan Pickup
i would leave it the way that you have it. Is there a problem with the way that it displays? Even if you made the wall go up through the 3 stories, you would have other challanges, such as how to edit the window in the middle floor, how to make the wall appear on the 3 plans... Seena Hassouna
Yes, I have tought of that. There are just a couple of windows that go between the floors. I guess I can do a boolean of the upper wall to cut out a whole for the window below. Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Seena, I have an idea. I haven't tried it, so let me know if it works: Create one window that is positioned partly in and partly above the lower wall. Select it and COPY. Go to the upper floor layer and PASTE IN PLACE (you will probably need to drag it out and back into the wall to ensure that it is inserted in the wall). Now change the "z" height of the upper floor window so that it is postitoned parly in and partly below the upper wall and so that it exactly overlaps the lower window. It ought to work :-) Quote Link to comment
