Yellowstone Construction
My Title Block & borders are made on a design layer (Common). How do I now combine the viewport and the Title/borders on one sheet or design layer? When I set the visibility for (Common) & view port all I see is viewport. Do I need to recreate the Title Block/borders? Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
If your TITLE BLOCK is in a different scale from the other layers you will need to redraw it. You can also make a TITLE BLOCK SYMBOL in 1:1 scale, and then simply insert the symbol into the sheet layer. There are some minor issues with this as the TITLE no longer exists on its own layer and can be accidentally moved or deleted. Sometimes I lock the symbol to prevent that from occuring. Jonathan Pickup
I would strongly recommend moving away from your current layer pased title block to a symbol type title block. Using a symbol is really easy, and you can make your title block issue manager friendly so that you can use the issue manager with it. If you need step-by-step instructions on making a custom title block and using it, i have written an Architect tutorial... https://vesta.safe-order.net/archoncad/manuals/manuals.php Quote Link to comment
RAFA
The best thing about the view ports is that now you don't have to have different scale title blocks so you can create one title block symbol scale 1:1 and just insert it in each sheet, once you create the symbol you can make your borders as part of your symbol.
