Jörgen Dohmen
Dear Vectorworks user, Can someone help me with this. Is have a Solid object but in openGL and renderworks it doesn't appear as a solid. Is this a setting? Thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment
0 Pat Stanford
How was the object created and what kind of object is it called at the top of the Object Info Palette? It is hard to tell from you image, but it looks like it could be an extrusion of an open polygon. That would only have the surfaces with no internal "filling" Quote Link to comment
0 Jörgen Dohmen
@Pat Stanford It's an extrude from a 2D rectangle. Also tried to convert to a generic solid. Quote Link to comment
0 Pat Stanford
Is the scaffolding on a different layer? It almost looks like the extrude is solid but the scaffolding is drawing over it rather than in the same space? Do you have Unified View turned on? Quote Link to comment
0 Jesse Cogswell
Also make sure that the polyline or polygon that makes up the extrude has Closed checked in the Object Info Palette and also has a solid fill. Quote Link to comment
0 AlanW
Usually find that the use at creation is not ticked and or not set to solid. Check the symbol also. HTH I notice yout item is on the none class and often it has not solid fill and your have not ticked use material, not sure if that makes a difference.
