jnr
Am I missing something, because I cannot get beams or rafters to render in either Open Gl or renderworks (final, custom, fast). I've imported a cedar texture and set the beams to this texture. I tried setting the class (structural-framing) to this texture. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted July 3, 2003 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted July 3, 2003 Make sure your attributes by class for the class None (this is the "use at creation" checkbox in the Edit Class dialog) are turned off. Quote Link to comment
RGyori
Double check that the beam object has a fill. Without a fill, it will not render even with textures. Quote Link to comment
Guest
Does it render without a texture - like a solid color? Quote Link to comment
jnr
Yes it renders gray (maybe white but in shadow). It has a white fill. I'll try turning off the use at creation in the none class to see what happens. Quote Link to comment
