Modelling Proposed Site Model Issues

Hello All, 

 

I am trying to model a proposed residential site. I have successfully modelled the existing site using topographical data. Now, I am trying to model the proposed and running in to a series of very frustrating issues. 

I have added pads under the proposed buildings and have drawn my own contours at 200mm intervals as  3d polylines and assigned to the proposed site model by changing the class to site- DTM-Modifier. However when I update the proposed  site model lots of new contours are added where I dont want them! On inspection it looks as though at random intervals the mesh is jumping between referring to the existing site contours and my proposed contours. Am I missing a simple button somewhere in the site modifiers where you can chose to ignore the existing contours on to only use the new drawn ones?

@Annabel sounds like you need to add some grade limits.

@AnnabelHi, Make sure your site modifiers and site model are referring to proposed and not existing.

You can change the contours to be displayed in settings see attached
