Edit Texture & Image

I have a texture I want to edit.  I could swear I have done it several times before right from the resource manager.  I bring up the image right click, left click and get nothing.  Am I forgetting something?  I made my initial image to small and it tiling when I place it.

You should be able to right-click any texture in the Resource Manager and click "Edit" in the context menu to open the Edit Texture dialog box.  If for whatever reason the context menu isn't appearing, try restarting Vectorworks.

 

If it is in your Resource Manager as an Image resource rather than a texture, then there is no way to change the image file itself, you just have to make a new resource with the new file and point the Texture to the newly imported Image.  Does this make sense?

@Landartma remember to edit a resource it needs to be imported into the active file first. So click on the 'Home' button on the resource manager then you'll be looking at the active file + then when you right-click on the resource the 'Edit...' option will be available.
