Kevin K Posted January 30, 2021 Share Posted January 30, 2021 So, I am getting ready to download Big Sur for several reasons....mostly because most of the current rendering engines sort of demand it. I was using Vray for c4d for several years, but they recently switched to a subscription based system, which starts at $80.00 per month, which is sort of hard for me to swallow since there are times when I would go for several weeks or even a month now and then, without using Vray. I am looking for more of a perpetual license in regards to a third party rendering engine. Anyway.... I just wanted to hear from some of you who have taken the plunge, if you had encountered any major issues when using VW 2020 or 2021. I am using 2020. I realize that once you have installed Big Sur you can say bye-bye to bring to use VW 2019 and below. I am all ears for any feedback. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford Posted February 3, 2021 Share Posted February 3, 2021 I just upgraded my second machine (MacBook Air 2013) but have not tried VW on it. Apparently the latest Big Sur upgrade (11.2?) has greatly improve a lot of stability items. I have not heard many complaints here about Big Sur, so I think you are probably OK. Quote Link to comment
