hollister design Studio 54 Posted December 15, 2020 This has popped up a couple of times today while drawing. Also had a popup saying my "temp file drive is full" when I tried to save the file. Unfortunately didn't get a screen shot of that one. I have 6tb free on my D: drive. I have a solid state drive for my C : drive - operating sys and program files. This is tight with around 5.7gb out of 256gb free Can't seem to figure out how to point the temp file location to my d: drive. I really do NOT want VW to use my solid state drive as a temp file. Thoughts? Quote Share this post Link to post

0 hollister design Studio 54 Posted December 28, 2020 Happening again today. "Disk drive is marked read-only" message followed by the "temp drive full" message when I attempted to save. I was trying to save the file (ctrl S) - VW wouldn't save file - but when I clicked save as in the file menu and clicked on the file name in the explorer and then allowed overwrite that file it all worked fine. This doesn't appear to be a low drive space issue. I have 8 GB free on C:___ drive and 6.1 TB on the D:___ drive where the .vwx file is stored. I still haven't figured out how to set my temp file to a specific drive. I do not want it writing to my C:__ drive, I want it writing to my D:__ drive. Could someone from Vectorworks please let me know how to do this? Quote Share this post Link to post
