td4stage
Hello, I am wondering if there exists, more tutorials and/or training for advanced 3D and rendering techniques. I am getting fairly adept at basic 3d, but am having difficulties creating more complex shapes (furniture and the like). I know that NURBS are the ticket but I am having a hard time finding something that works for me. If anybody knows of any good NURBS tutorials, please let me know! On another thought, I am exploring the possibilities of attending a training seminar that NNA puts on around the country but have noticed that most all of the sessions take place on either the east or west coast. Now I know that the people who live in these locals have a hard time believing that anything exists after 500 miles in-land but we actually have computers and do CAD. I am wondering why NNA does not offer courses in say, Chicago or St.Louis / Kansas City. This is a little bit closer to the geographic center of the country and a little easier to travel to! Just a few thoughts! Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Try the following: - The 8 QT movies at the bottom of the VW 11 feature demos page http://www.nemetschek.net/upgrade/11demos.php - The 10 Tutorials in the 3D Powerpack area http://www.nemetschek.net/3dpowerpack/tutorials.php There is quite a lot of other information and examples in the 3D Powerpack area as well. http://www.nemetschek.net/3dpowerpack/ Quote Link to comment

Jonathan Pickup
Partick, the movie that Mike points you to are great and I always point people to these movies, but what you need is a project to bring these together. We run a user group meeting when I show people how to make this bus stop; http://www.archoncad.co.nz/images/bus.mov Quote Link to comment
