Biscontin
Is it possible to paste an image (let say I open a Jpeg in Mac Preview, select an area of the image, Ctrl+C to save it in the clipboard) in JPEG and not in PNG? When I Ctrl+V the clipboard VW paste in always in PNG format... Quote Link to comment
zoomer
PNG is the standard format VW will convert images when importing. (PNG is lossless) But there is a VW setting that will allow you to change to lossy JPEG format, to save file size. But that will be the standard for all images. If files size doesn't really matter, you should not care much about the standard PNG concersion. Unlikely but could also be that there are any Settings in Preview which will default to PNG for Clipboard (?) Quote Link to comment

zoomer
Hmmh, looks like it only works if you File > Import Image > Dialog PDF/JPEG I also do not find a related Setting in Preview, Finder, Digital Images, ... (Maybe I have seen such in Linux) Quote Link to comment
