We received some 'Enscape 3D' links from a consultant we're working with this week.

These provide interactive 360 degree navigable views from a set point on their model which open via weblink, so would be something we could send to clients etc without them having any modelling or visualisation software - and looks to me like a plugin which works with Revit / ArchiCAD.

Is there anything comparable at the moment for Vectorworks, or is this something that could be incorporated within Vectorworks itself?

Thanks,

Lisa

Hi Lisa

You do have the Export Web View, together with the Export Panorama, under the Export menu. Both of these options can be processed on Vectorworks Cloud Services, and then shared with your client via a web link/QR code. They will be able to open this on a browser/mobile device/VR headset, without requiring any special software at all.

The Panorama option can use any Renderworks style.

These cloud options are available to customers with an active Vectorworks Service Select contract.

Beside the existing solutions,

I am pretty sure that Enscape Plugin for VW will come soon.

It is mentioned on Enscape's todo list.

(Windows only)

Twinmotion (currently free) is another solution that may get VW

Exchange at one point. But it already works very well by C4D files

exported from VW.

(Windows and Mac)

Lumion is another real time solution that already has a VW connection.

(Windows only)

Here’s a recent post describing the Vw development progress on the above:
