Jon Harper
Is there a way to "flatten" an image to save disk space? I have a somewhat complex 3d model of a theater, but want to be able to email a 2d plan version to designers easier, i.e. with a smaller file. Is there any way to do this without redrafting over everything? Quote Link to comment
Hugo
Or exporting as an image file (JPG, PNG, TIFF, etc) Quote Link to comment
grant_PD
you might try making a hybrid symbol of the theater, and just exporting the 2d version out. I've got some examples of what you're doing on my site, under architectural. Quote Link to comment
islandmon
A real quick & easy method > set up the scene then do a Screen Capture via copy & paste into your email or save to file & attach it. You can do multiple set-ups & captures in a matter of seconds. Quote Link to comment
propstuff
Tool>Convert Copy to Lines/Polygons should give you a "small" version that can be worked on further with out the resolution issues of a screen capture. Don't forget to select Convert COPY!! ;-) [ 05-30-2005, 06:30 PM: Message edited by: propstuff ] Quote Link to comment
