Are you using VW 2019 SP2?

I wonder if this has anything to do with your spinning beach ball problems. Maybe try moving the file to the desktop and restart Vectorworks. I'm curious if you see improvements. If you're using 2019 SP2, please don't delete the User Log file just yet. Someone here may want to have a look at it.
