acdeslx
I have an associate who is doing some video mapping on a set. He's using WatchOut as the media server to do this. I'm attempting to generate the 3d model of the set for him to import into his software to allow him to complete the 3d mapping (exports as .3ds file). There is a direct relation to how I map and texture the object and how it relates to how his mapping works... ie: scaling and rotating the textures on my side affect his end as well. Unfortunately, I can't quite seem to manipulate the maps in a way that's necessary. Does anybody out there have any experience in this? Thanks. Dave 1 Quote Link to comment
JBenghiat
Can you be more specific about the objects onto which you are trying to map and the problem you are having? Or is the issue with the 3ds export? What you describe should be possible, so we need a little more information on the limitations you are finding. -Josh Quote Link to comment
Chris Gentry
You need to be able to export UV maps which VW can't do. http://academy.dataton.com/watchout-cookbook/uv-mapping-basics 1 Quote Link to comment
