Import a CLASS from the Resource Manager

I would like to be able to import a CLASS from another document without opening the other document. I think the Resource Manager would be the place for this addition.

I think it works Class > New > From Document

But its quite clicky though.

This is done through Tools > Organization, under the Classes tab. Click New and then pick the target source file.

You must NOT have a class with an identical name in your active document however, or it will not show you that class as an import choice. Also, there is a checkbox for importing the items within that class or not, by default I believe it is off and will only import the empty class with its various attributes.

There is an extra checkbox to hide classes with same name.

 

I assume, when you uncheck and select such a class, it would overwrite the

class settings with the imported ones.

Correct, it's VERY important to be aware of that option to avoid overwriting anything.
