Kevin McAllister
Can someone else confirm this issue - - Create a camera and place it in the corner of a room. - Try moving the camera so its just 1" or so inside the room. - Display the camera and render the view using OpenGL. - The camera thinks its inside the wall even though it shouldn't be and wasn't in earlier versions. - Move the camera out of the corner until it renders properly. In my experiments the camera has to be at least 6" from the corner to work. If someone can confirm this I'll get Jim to bug submit it. Thanks, Kevin Edited June 6, 2016 by Kevin McAllister Quote Link to comment
bc
Confirmed. This has been going on for as long as I've had VW. 12 yrs or so? The camera seems to back up. Sorry I can't offer up a solution. Quote Link to comment

Marionette Maven Marissa Farrell Posted June 7, 2016 Marionette Maven Share Posted June 7, 2016 Kevin & bc, Out of curiosity, what layer scale are you using when you see this? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted June 7, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 7, 2016 Confirmed: It happens when at 1:1 scale, it does not seem to happen at 1/2" or 1/4", submitting as a bug now. I suspect it will happen with some and not others. Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
Hi Jim, Thanks for taking a look. I went back to my file to send you an example and now its working properly. Very strange. There was definitely an issue a couple of days ago. I spent a fair amount of time troubleshooting it and re-inserting cameras. If it happens again I'll send you the file. Kevin Quote Link to comment
