Tom Klaber
This is a pretty basic question, but I was wondering if you could use a marionette script to act on object. I have been teaching myself - and just ran a little experiment where I wanted to equally divide a rectangle and then draw lines at the division points. This was fairly straight forward, but I had to generate the initial rectangle within the script. What would be more useful is if I could get that script to act on a rectangle that I draw, and which I could resize with control handles rather than having to input the size in the OIP. I am sure there is a simple way to do this. The videos seem to show scripts being controlled by objects. Thanks! Tom Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
Tom, The simplest way is to name the object (top field on the Data pane with an object selected in the OIP) and use the Name node (in the Input group of nodes). Kevin Quote Link to comment
