I totally agree.

I thought that Service Select members received special access to additional training webinars, but it appears that most of the VSS videos are also on YouTube, and like you said, there aren't very many recent ones.

The most recent VSS 'Tips by Guest Presenters and Vectorworks Power Users' webinar is from version 2014, which is now two product cycles ago. The most recent VSS How-To video is also from Vw2014.

There's nothing from Vw2015, and here we are now on Vw2016.

Are there any Videos in Select Account that are not available directly by Youtube ?

I mostly prefer Select Account because it is nicely ordered and I can't watch

Youtube Videos directly in Browser without bright Browser Borders around

on my iPad :) ....

I'm currently working through webinars, and really like the old ones (2011-13)

We're redoing how this will work going forward. Ideally I'd like training materials I create to be available to everyone, but some of the more advanced/premium stuff that comes right from industry specialists or direct trainings would stay on Service Select only, or at least material would be exclusive to Service Select for a period of time, then eventually go to Youtube for everyone to view. There is still content that is on the portal that is not on Youtube, but I don't have a comprehensive list.

I think there will be more focus on putting content like object libraries, sample files and various other document-specific materials within the Service Select portal and purely informational content will be for open everyone. However, this is really just an educated guess on my part, I have not heard the official word yet.

In any case, I want to increase the frequency and quality of training content that comes directly from us significantly.

@zoomer : Have you tried the YouTube app on your iPad? It has black borders if the videos are not full-screen; I find it works much better than viewing in a browser. The Vectorworks YouTube channel has the videos organized by Playlist, which personally I find easier to navigate than the VSS videos.

I use both VSS and youtube.

Currently prefer the youtube videos embedded on other websites as they open QT.

But that changes from time to time, depending on current iPad and every iOS

Sub release :)

Maybe I should reload the YT App again.

At the Moment there is a wall of about 9 billion hours of webinars on VSS

in front of me that I have to tear down ....
