Jon Chavez
Does anyone know the best workflow for creating accurate curved screens using the Video Screen tool? Thanks for any help! -Jon Quote Link to comment
Mike Wright
As far as I know this is not possible for projection screens. I generally just create a 'screen surface' as an extrusion then apply the screen image as a mapped texture. For larger blended curves I have just created a projection screen per blend and centred the screen on a tangent at the correct point on the curve to give me the correct projector position for rigging. Couple of images attached form the construction phase of a job I'd love to be proved wrong though..... Edited March 26, 2015 by Mike Wright Quote Link to comment
Andrew Davies
I'd be interested in this too - Mike's workaround makes sense - but an out of the box solution would be fabulous. Quote Link to comment
klawson
There is a checkbox in the Blended Screen tool that allows for curved screens. I have found it difficult to make it do everything I might want, but it is there. YMMV! 1 Quote Link to comment
