SharonP
Hi I have a two level house, and have put the same basic texture (vertical lines to resemble vertical weatherboards) on walls on both levels. However, the vertical lines don't line up. Can anyone tell me what to change or select or deselect so that they will line up? Thanks Sharon Quote Link to comment
AlanW
Hi, just adjust the Offset V in the Object info -Render pallet and one will move up or down. You can also nudge the block so the patterns align and then reshape the block and the hatch stays aligned. May be a quicker way. Edited March 26, 2015 by Alan777 Quote Link to comment
RGyori
or use the attributes mapping tool Bob Quote Link to comment
POA
Hi Sharon, As I understand it, the above recommendations should work if the hatches are 2d. If they are part of 3d textures that you have applied to wall objects you will not be able to edit them individually in order to align them I'm afraid. You will need to create a separate texture for each level and adjust one to make the line up. You do this by editing the texture, click edit surface hatch at the bottom left and adjust the x and y offset to suit. Hope this helps. Quote Link to comment
AlanW
Hi, I was referring to textures applied to a 3D object. The 2d hatches you have to remake as I understand. Happy to be corrected as I am still learning. Quote Link to comment
