Phil hunt Posted August 25, 2014 Share Posted August 25, 2014 i have created a symbol with 3 stools a table and 2d people sitting on 2 of the stools and 1 standing at the table..so 3 person total i have inserted 20 of these symbols into the plan but want to take out the person standing up as it looks to crowded on the plan i have edited the symbol in the resource browser and removed the standing person should this update all of the 20 other symbols in the drawing removing the standing person many thanks Quote Link to comment

Kevin McAllister Posted August 25, 2014 Share Posted August 25, 2014 Phil, One thought. Open the Resource Browser, navigate to your symbol and right click on it. Choose Symbol Options from the list of editing items and click Edit. Is the checkbox for Convert to Group enabled? If it is then every "symbol" instance you inserted is no longer a symbol but an individual group. Changes to the symbol will no longer affect them. Kevin Quote Link to comment
