Ethan R.
Hello All - I?m using some flat head machine screws to hold some boards together and I would like to create a countersink hole. It seems pretty straight forward, but I can't seem to figure out how to create a tapered extrude to cut the hole. Screw is: .477" Diameter Head Tapers at 85? for .133" to 1/4" Diameter, and then the rest of the screw ... thoughts? Quote Link to comment
bcd
Use the Hole Drilled tool available in the Detailing toolset. Interestingly these can be used as objects for performing solid subtractions. Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
Another way to create a countersunk hole would be to use the chamfer edge tool from the 3D tool palette. Quote Link to comment

A real pain when there are different hole sizes on one object Quote Link to comment
