Stretch command?

For polygons and polylines, the Reshape tool offers this. Select the object, enable the Reshape tool in Move mode, drag a marquee or lasso (toggle these in the in the Mode bar). Hover over any of the points in the marquee and drag - the surrounded points move together.

No equivalent for lines, squares, arcs, circles, ovals or objects in containers (groups, symbols, Viewports), except to drag the bounding handles which rescales the whole object in direction of the drag. A workaround is to select the object and Convert to Polygon or

For Meshes, just drag a marquee around the desired points and drag them. Don't dbl click to enter the edit mode, as that "disconnects" the facets so they move individually.

Post a specific need. There is probably a way to accomplish your goal.

Right, Monadnoc - Good call.

The Reshape/Move does not initially reshape a rectangle or line - tool does not activate the handles. But if the Reshape tool marquee is dragged around points of a rectangle, they can be moved and the object is automatically converted to a polygon.

Sort of same for a line. Reshape/Move does not activate the end points to move them. But drag a Reshape marquee around the end point and it will move with the tool. Probably easier to just move it with the Select tool!
