Door tool: bi-folding sliding doors

We'd like support for bi-folding sliding doors. And there shouldn't be any limit to the number of configurations (i.e. please don't use a drop-down list of options, use a Custom Door Options graphical user interface instead perhaps).

I agree with Christiaan. I know we can do this currently with windoor, but we shouldn't have to. The standard window and door tools should be able to do at least all the things that Windoor can do.

Agreed, we actually use Windoor but it's not a long term solution for us because Julian hasn't got the resources to support the UK market with various features that we need over here (e.g. structural openings).

They should buy WinDoor and merge the 2.......with the slow present rate of development it's stupid that 'they' are developing 2 door/window tools parallel of each other.....

Could you actually merge the two very easily? Although Windoor is more mature I actually prefer the way the VW window tool deals with complex sash arrangements.

Probably not , but one of WinDoors weaknesses is that very little changes can be made directly in the OIP, so quickly changing certain settings in several instances all at once is more complicated.......much better in the native tool. Ideally taking the strengths in both and creating one tool would be preferable and less R&D resource demanding....
