Solid objects become partly transparent

Hello

I've often struggled with this :

If I set lighting too bright, sometimes some white parts of a solid wall / piece of scenery, become transparent.

I've never known how to fix it until now. Set the viewport's attributes to solid fill in the attributes palette.

I can't take the credit for this - Matt Panzer (author of the superb Cameramatch plugin) put me onto it.

But I can't work out the logic of it!! I would never have thought of trying that!!
