Means to repair corrupt Vw files

There should be a means to repair a corrupt Vw file other than having to manually copy and paste everything into a new file.

Since it is not possible to copy Viewports and Saved Views between files, it is almost impossible to completely duplicate one file's structure into a new file. Not to mention the sheer amount of time involved with duplicating layers, stories, viewport annotations, re-linking stairs, etc.

Not automated, no. The occurrences are dropping here on average but Tech is still pushing for something like this.

(But yes, the Tech team have this wishlisted and push for it constantly.)

On the assumption that this will always be a threat could we instead have something built into Vectorworks that will allow us identify an object that is causing corruption?

I understand that Vw automatically does some automatic repair work on a file each time you open it (as posted by @PVA - Admin in THIS thread back in 2015), but in Vw2023 there is still a need for a manual Recover command to use on files that cannot be opened.
