I looked at the Textures_Metals Plastics Glass file and the textures appear to be exactly the same as they were in VW2011. Am I looking in the wrong place? Quote Link to comment
rDesign Posted October 6, 2011 Share Posted October 6, 2011 Bill- I read this on page 25 in the 'Fundamentals_2012.pdf' (included in the Vw2012 installer package): Improved metallic shader: Internal adjustments have been made to improve the appearance and visual effect of the Metallic reflectivity shader So it sounds like you have to make a new RW texture to see any improvements. HTH. PS. I've often wondered if Nemetschek Vectorworks bothers to update the provided RW Textures when they release a new version (which certainly should have done when they switched over to the Cinema 4D engine).
