Matt D
Hello I'm thinking of going mobile with a 13" Macbook Air. I was wondering if anyone can give me their experience of using Vectorworks on a laptop of this size or similar? Thanks for any stories that come forward. Regards Matt Quote Link to comment
Miguel Barrera
I have used VW on a 10" screen and the only annoying thing besides less real estate to work with is that the standard menus will extend to another column and may fill your screen. But you can always modify the workspace and consolidate/group some of the menu items. Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
I use Vectorworks on a 13" macbook. you have to be very efficient with palettes, and one or two dialog boxes have trouble fitting on the screen. If you can connect to a large screen when you are at your desk, that works really well. have the drawing on the large screen, all the palettes on the small one. make sure you get enough RAM Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
I use a 13" MacBook Pro when I travel. Not as good as my 27" iMac, but works better for me than my old 15" PowerBook. Quote Link to comment

domer1322
I very happily bought a refurbished 13" Macbook Air yesterday on the Apple refurbished site. I highly recommend buying from the refurbished site. They told me it would take a week to get here, and I checked the shipping track information this morning and it is due to arrive today. Under promise - over deliver. PS: I've been looking for the new MBA 13" on the website for weeks, and it first popped up yesterday .... and just as quickly, it was gone. You have to be quick and decisive .... or just pay and extra $200 from the regular store. Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
Matt, Please let us know what you think once you've had some time to try out your 13" MBA. Quote Link to comment
