Wall Join + tracking problem

We just upgraded to 2010 Fundementals... I cannot figure out how to get walls to track with eachother when they are being moved around. AutoJoin is checked in the preferences, any help would be appreciated.

Check your mode bar when using the 2D Selection tool Roman. There's a mode toward the end you need to turn on, called Enable Connected Walls Mode.

Fundamentals doesn't have the Enable Connected Walls Mode capability.

So this a purposeful crippling? What's next, trim/split that's also 75% functional?

Architect contains many features that Fundamentals doesn't because it is enhanced for architecture. Those enhancements provide greater productivity for those whose business is the design and documentation of buildings.

This is the equivalent of an architect designing a stair but omitting the handrails from the drawing. I dont' know how many Fundemental users there are, but I use it for 2D drafting. Last I checked, isn't that what architects do?

I think the division between Fundamentals and Architect should be 2D / 3D BIM. It makes me wonder what other things I'm using at 50% capacity...
