Jodyb17
I went to place a camera using the Renderworks Camera tool. I got a message that the plug-in was not in the plug-in folder. I checked the Plug-in folder, but the vso file is there. I tried another workspace and I get the same message. Thoughts? Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Try editing the workspace, remove then add the Camera back. Quote Link to comment
Jodyb17
The Renderworks Camera tool no longer shows up as a tool to add.... Quote Link to comment
Jodyb17
Nobody? I reinstalled VW and the problem still somehow exists.... I'm stuck. Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Did you run disk utilities after install and update? Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Do you still have RenderWorks Camera.vso in your plug-ins folder? When you go to Help menu>About VectorWorks does it show RenderWorks under Licensed Products:? Quote Link to comment
Jodyb17
Well it appears that someone has switched serial numbers with me without mentioning that to me. That explains it, thanks. I didn't think to check for renderworks being on my machine. Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
No problem, glad we figured it out. Quote Link to comment
Vanessadesigner
Hey, I've actually got the same problem. I cannot use the Camera tool as it says it may not be in my Plug in folder but it is. I only have the Fundamentals under the licensed products, might this stop me from using all the capabilities of the software? Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
The Camera object comes with Renderworks. If you have Renderworks then it will be possible to add it to your Workspace. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
You have the full capabilities of Fundamentals. You do not have the full capabilities of Vectorworks. For that you need to Designer with Renderworks. See http://www.archoncad.co.nz/blog.php?id=7362251279280526572 for a little bit of information about the limitations of Fundamentals. As Mike said, you need Renderworks to get the Camera Tool. Quote Link to comment
