simple wall color problem

Recommended Posts

When 3D rendering, I have some exterior walls where I want to keep the same exterior texture (brick) and many have a wallpaper texture on the interior surface. I want to change a few to have a solid color interior surface, and when I change the interior side of the wall to have texture=none, then I expect to see the attribute palette allow me to pick a solid color. However, the attributes palette has all the color options ?grayed? and I can?t pick a color for the interior surface. How do I solve this simple problem?

PS: I want to avoid changing the wall style resource, since I don?t want all the exterior walls to have solid color interior surfaces.

Are these Styled Walls? If so, you will not be able to set a color to just one. If you no longer need the ability to change all the walls by changing the wall style, then you can just convert the walls you want to color to Unstyled in the Object Info Palette.

If you need to keep them styled, you probably need to make a new style for each interior color you need and then replace the walls with the correct style.
