digitalcarbon
please see photos. i have 2 files one is were i made the building model and the other is going to have my dtm. i made a design layer view port in my dtm file to get my building in but some how the doors do not show. it is as if they are not part of the wall but they are because they cut the wall in my building model file. any thoughts? Pat Stanford
Have you checked the class visibilities for the DLVP? Maybe you door (but not the trim) has gotten turned off. Often (most of the time), when things disappear it is a class visibility issue. Pat Quote Link to comment

gmm18
You probably have checked this, but my first thought is to be sure that the door is actually inserted into the wall, if so then when you select the door, the Object Info Pallet would say"Door in Wall" at the top. If it only says "Door" then you need to insert the door into the wall for it to look right. Quote Link to comment
digitalcarbon
yes i checked. keep in mind that the door shows correctly in the file where is created. BUT when i ref it to another file THEN it disappeared in the target file but was still ok in the source file. some how it has cleared up and ok. thanks for your input. : ) Quote Link to comment
