builtra
hi so my set up is where i use different wall types to show existing / demo / proposed i have a renovation where we are changing material of existing wall on the floor plan i want the existing wall to be just 2 lines and white in the middle.. just a plain wall on elevations i want the material to show on existing elevations as stucco but on proposed elevations as siding i know i can edit material on OIP in texture but if i set it to class then both elevations will have material showing as the wall would only ever be in the 1 class this is a little complicated because in that same wall i am replacing windows ,,, a simple fix would be to copy the walls ,, remove the windows from schedule on the copy and then just turning on and off the new wall in a seperate class... but wondering if there are other ways? E|FA
I use a custom Record instead of different wall styles, and then use Data Visualization. It tkaes a little time to set up, but then is available whenever you need it. There are other threads on here somewhere. Here are some other threads: https://forum.vectorworks.net/index.php?/topic/107814-data-vis-workflow-for-remodeling-projects 1 Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Since this is in Viewports you can use the Viewport Overrides to change the texture for the class in one of the viewports. 1 Quote Link to comment
