  6. hi so my set up is where i use different wall types to show existing / demo / proposed i have a renovation where we are changing material of existing wall on the floor plan i want the existing wall to be just 2 lines and white in the middle.. just a plain wall on elevations i want the material to show on existing elevations as stucco but on proposed elevations as siding i know i can edit material on OIP in texture but if i set it to class then both elevations will have material showing as the wall would only ever be in the 1 class this is a little complicated because in that same wall i am replacing windows ,,, a simple fix would be to copy the walls ,, remove the windows from schedule on the copy and then just turning on and off the new wall in a seperate class... but wondering if there are other ways?
  7. sure attached is sample sample.vwx
  8. the other day my lines on walls started going away, i reversed wall sides and it worked.. then the issue came back.. so i changed wall types back and forth and that that fixed it.. now that stopped working, any help would be appreciated Link to what im talking about https://www.loom.com/share/88ddb4005ca44b1ca72cc95fd9e65b1c
  9. i found the way to get it back... i use wall types so i changed my type to a wall with same thickness and then changed it back
  10. i have an existing wall where i am adding doors / windows too... for some reason at some point the walls have the lines disappear... the wall is still there and sometimes i can reverse sides to get it back but now i cant just reverse the sides any help appreciated
  11. i do this as well.. usually in design what i do is save the existing model in a seperate file.. then cut walls and work on the main model .. usually its not a headache to make changes since i jus turn off demo layer as i work on proposed.. then final approval i double check everything
  12. i like to click edit layout then you can just copy and paste your new block in there and delete old one
