Data Visualisation legend opacity

I can get the shading of a viewport to have reduced opacity, via the 'Edit Data Visualization' menu, but the corresponding swatches in the DV Legend don't have the same overrride and just appear as solid blocks of colour. Can I adjust this?

The only way I know how to do this is to adjust the Opacity of the individual Data Vis key in the Annotations Portion of the Sheet Layer Viewport.

But does that just makes the text opacity change as well?

Yes, it probably will change the opacity of the text. If you just want the Swatch to change then ungroup the object so that the Text and Swatches are now independent of each other and alter the opacity of the swatch geometry.

 

The drawback is that the Data Vis legend is now broken. To add a new one, right-click inside the annotations portion and select Create Data Visualization Legend.
