Green squares on dimension lines

The green squares mean that you have Associated Dimensions. That means that the Dimension object is smart enough to know if you move one of the posts that the dimension should change to match the new location. They don't print, they are only for screen reference.

 

Likewise, if you double click on one of the dimensions and change the value, the object(s) will move to the new dimension location.

 

If you don't want this (in MNSHO) there is an option in Document Preferences to turn this off.

To turn them off for all your existing dimension, select the dimension objects and go to the Modify Menu, choose Edit Constraints, and Delete All. This will make all of your dimension non-associative.
