Stair tool bug?

Anyone's had these issues with the stair tool?

 

AND...

 

Is there a way to show the treads and risers in dashed line?

1) Are you asking about how the many of the bottom members of the panels do not align from one panel to the next, and the distance from the stringer to the panel changes at the landing?
 

If so, no I have not seen this with the Stair tool — but — I often use the Stair tool PIO as a general placeholder, turn off the 3D railing & guard and just direct model the Handrails in 3D exactly as I want them. I know that Vw2024 has improved the Railing functionality so maybe it is better now, but I have not yet tried it.

 

2) Are you asking about wanting to show the treads and risers as dashed in a 3D view? If so, not unless you turn on a Dashed Hidden line render mode (which would be a mess). I would just draw them as a dashed polyline in the SLVP annotations.
