Downloaded Plants

Why is most of the plants downloaded as SKP or from Vectorworks look flat?  see the image below:

Others are fine:

 

 

 

 

Also, how can we edit the overall size of such downloaded objects?  On the Object-Info Shape eirther there is no place to edit or there is but uneditable.

Can you not use the Scale Objects command to resize it?

the first plant looks like a 2D plane, hence the flat appearance.

 

the second plant is an actual 3D model.

Select the Mesh then go to Modify > Scale Objects... Here you can either scale the whole object equally using 'Symmetric' mode e.g. enter '2' if you want to double the size. Or scale it differently in different directions using 'Asymmetric' mode e.g. in Front/Left/Right View enter X Scaling Factor of 1 + Y Scaling Factor of 3 to make the object 3 times taller.

Thanks Tom, it really worked to my liking this is what I wanted the whole time.
