Jeff.Sullivan
Hello Everyone, You have all been a great help in the past, I am sure this can be done. We would like to have the Sheet layer page number show up in the arrow. As of right now it is easy to get the Design Layer in the feather, but we need the sheet number. So how can we do this? Pat Stanford
I think you will get a better response with a more detailed question. What object in VW are you talking about? What do you want it to look like? Screen shots and/or sample files to help us understand the issue will be helpful. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Conrad Preen Posted June 8, 2023 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 8, 2023 Jeff is talking about ConnectCAD Circuit objects I think. These can draw as a pair of "to" and "from" arrows. @Jeff.Sullivan the thing is a circuit can appear in multiple viewports on multiple sheet layers. So the only way to add information specific to the viewport/sheet would be to add this as a viewport annotation. We don't do that right now. But I will think about it because it has been asked for before. C 2 Quote Link to comment
Jeff.Sullivan
Thanks, @Conrad Preen, it was a big topic on a meeting today. The problem comes in when you print the pages. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Conrad Preen Posted June 9, 2023 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 9, 2023 @Jeff.Sullivan my dream is to make printing a thing of the past! I mean if you were able to just call up your project on a tablet or a phone and just click the arrow to navigate to where it goes... you wouldn't need page numbers. Get my drift? Jeff.Sullivan
@Conrad Preen I am so with you, and I feel that this is the best way to do it. We will just have to wait for some people to retire or, adapt. Quote Link to comment
