Problem with plug in objects

My 2023 will not read a 2022 file. It gets stuck forever reading the plug-ins.

 

 

Ca I make a table with plug-in objects in order to find the objects? 

 

Can I update the plug-ins?

This sounds like a good file to actually send to Tech Support for their review.

 

If you need it now, try exporting back to VW2021 and then importing that to VW2023.

 

Or just let it run longer on the import. There have been a few cases where there was a delay in the import but it eventually finished when left for a couple of hours.

I'll try your suggestion. Tech already has thad he file for a few weeks, but total silence.

I saved to 2021 and tried to open it but same problem, it just hangs there forever and does not translate into 2023. Well, at least an hour.

It definitely sounds like there is a problem with that file. 

 

Duplicate it and delete different layers from each file and import them separately to try and find the layer with the problem?

 

Or if you have some time send the file to Tech Support and ask them to help you convert it.
