bjoerka
Many other software packages have the ability to change the attributes of layers so that they can be seen but not be snapped. This might be very handy to add a column in the layer tab besides the visibility columns to disable snapping for selective layers. Quote Link to comment
0 zoomer
Not really "visible" and not for selected Layers only, But "Show gray" allows you to see them. On the other hand, since VW 2023 (?), Grayed in Shaded View Mode is soooo transparent, that I can't see anything anyways. Quote Link to comment
0 Tom W.
I think @bjoerka is saying that at the moment the Layer Options give you the choice of either all layers apart from the active layer being snappable or none of them. But what they would like is to be able to set which layers are snappable + which aren't on a layer by layer basis in the same way you can decide which are visible + which are grey. So you could have two layers which have snapping + all the others not for example. 1 Quote Link to comment
