Scaling imported PDF

Hello, 

 

I need to import a PDF plan but there is nothing on there to scale from on only 1:200@A3.  Any ideas on how I scale it? Usually I just take a know measurement and use that.

Can you import it then scale it by distance + make the long edge 420mm, then scale it symmetrically by a factor of 200?

I have figured it out.  Set the layer you're importing to to the same scale as the PDF.  In this case I set the layer to 1:200, which is what is stated on the PDF.

That will work as long as the PDF re-scale ever so slightly when created.

I would always calibrate the PDF before starting. If you're out by a small amount in the PDF that translates massive problem in your drawings and onsite.
