integrate Vectorworks Service Select inside the Home Screen!!!!

Hi,

 

a question, I have been asking myself various times before: Why not integrate the Serviceselect-portal directly inside Vectorworks. Sth like a mini browser inside the resource panel or similar...

 

Now there is the answer: home screen, only the service select portal still hasn't been integrated.

 

Could be the next step, I think 😉

You can access your VSS portal (bottom left) ....

 

but it will open in a Browser Window.

the program is slow enough as it is, why add another thing that can go wrong when you can access it from a browser?

I like it as it is - opening VSS in the browser.

As i like when start panel shows all VW related stuff like Opening Files, choosing Templates for New Files, showing legible previews for recent Files, ...

 

I think it is nice to have these links on the left side though.

I am not sure about those that open directly on the start panel though.

(e.g. "Learn" could expand as a dropdown (?) )

I would not mind if they would open in a browser.

 

But it is good to have a link e.g. to the Forum or VSS, ...

 

Same as I would wish that each Software Forum would have/share the same bottom site links

to its Homepage, Download Page, Support Page, .....

(VW US does that quite well. But for VW DE/Computerworks, I have to search in my Bookmarks first)
